Red Bay Volunteer Lifeboat crew launched on service today Sunday 12th May @12.20. A sailing vessel on passage from Campbeltown in Scotland to Ballycastle contacted Belfast Coastguard requesting assistance 5 miles East of Torr Head. The vessel with one person on board suffered power failure and also had a small ingress of water which was resolved by the lifeboat crew on arrival. The yacht was safely towed to Glenarm Marina. The Lifeboat returned to Cushendall at 15.15 and made ready for service. | Redbay Lifeboat
