INFO:
I get methyl cellulose in powder form from TALAS, and follow instructions from papercraftpanda’s blog to make the MC. Then it’s ready to mix with PVA. In Telluride, which is a very dry place, we used 60u002F40 PVA mix (60% pva 40% mc). I’m finding 70u002F30 better for me in Southern California, and depending on the day, it’s a bit wet so I’ll add more PVA. Be aware that this also means you need to press your books longer! I had to press my most recent journal batch for 2 nights instead of 1. If you use PVA mix, let us all know what ratio you use and your locationu002Fclimate! I think that’s going to be helpful for everyone who wants to try this.
